Sound of Music: The Salzburg Musical

Musical and theatre lovers are in for a great surprise next season: “The Sound of Music”, a musical so well loved all around the world, finally makes it to its “real” home: Salzburg. On October 23rd 2011, “The Sound of Music” celebrates its first staging at the Landestheater Salzburg. Believe it or not: while the legendary story of the Trapp family has ravished families around the world, their tale is hardly known to people in Salzburg. A great reason for them to rush for tickets, but just as well for international guests who want to experience “The Sound of Music” on original location. There are 30 shows planned until the end of June 2011.
